My casual lolita inspired outfit (the reason why I usually use a longer petticoat and make my own clothes seen above - the skirt is Moitié, so are my coat and bag) for a vintage meeting in Amsterdam. I was incredibly tired as I was sick for few days before the meeting and din't sleep much (that's why a goofy facial expression), but it was all worth it to drag myself to see people on this very beautiful day! Thank you so much for the wonderful time once again, everyone! It was nice to meet you all that day. *many hugs*
I would like to thank you all for reading my blog and for all the comments that I have received lately. Those have truly inspired me to write and work more when it comes to writing my blog. So, thank you for everything! I try my best to answer all the comments as soon as possible and continue the DOd and DON'Ts. I will let you know when I have continued the text. :)
I ploaded a new make up and hair tutorial on Youtube:
This is the almost complete outfit:
There are two more hair and make up tutorials on their way (one already uploaded on Youtube, but as private, and one already filmed and waiting for cutting and titles). I need to apologize for the fact that these videos don't have any voice although many of you have asked me to speak on my videos as well. Well, my boyfriend was sleeping while I was filming these and I didn't want to wake him up as he works so hard, so that's why there's no voice this time either. Sorry, I try to film videos with voice soon. :)
As I always say, concrit, suggestions, ideas and questions are warmly welcomed and appreciated. I hope that you are looking forward to the next videos.
Then, about my blog's new look:
Well, all in all the whole blog is still under construction, but I try my best to be able to finish it as soon as possible. For now on I will try to update atleast once a week and to change the gadgets like "Gothic pi of the week", "Casual pic of the week", "Song of the week", "Random pic of the week" etc. I will be also adding more pages to the blog to separate different topics from each other. I hope that it would make it easier for everyone to navigate on my blog. :) So, if you have any ideas (even my header is unfinished - I need to make a new one), please share those with me! I would be more than happy of that.
There's also a quiz on the right side of my blog which was made to find out what people are looking forward to read about in the future. :) If someone possibly finds time to fill that out, I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you!
I also have Twitter and Facebook, so if you haven't yet added me there, please feel free to do so.
I hope that everyone will spend an amazing week! :)
Many many hugs,
Iira
Aaawww, great style!!! ^^
ReplyDeleteLove it very much <3
Thank you very much for the hair and make-up tutorial <333. You're gorgeous as always!!!
ReplyDeleteNice, nice!
ReplyDeleteFantastic tutorial! And lovely outfits too <3
ReplyDeleteThe new layout is nice but I'm not sure is it only me but I can't see your face on the header.
ReplyDeleteI love to read your blog please continue your work! You're very inspiring person!
I like your new layout, nice background.
ReplyDeleteEven though your header is unfinished, I do hope you might change the photo a bit, so we can see your pretty face ♥
I really like to watch your videos, and it's understandable that you didn't talk in them. It's very thoughtfull of you, for not waking up your boyfriend. ^^
And you looked lovely with the vintage meet-up. Hope you didn't had alot of pain with your feet, because of those shoes ;)
I really like your new blog look :D and your pictures is really beautiful! I want your hair! :D
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your tutorials, photos, your blog. You're my inspiration.
ReplyDeleteMinua alkoi kovasti kiinnostaa, mikä kappale meikkitutossa soi taustalla?
ReplyDeleteGreat blog changes! :D The only thing I miss are categories. Like one category for outfits, one for tutorials and so on :) But like you said you have to make more post and not write about too many subjects in the same post to be able to do that :)
ReplyDeletegorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your tips, it's always nice to read!
Of course, I am happy to read you more this week :-)
Hello, dearest Iira!!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for sharing your lovely tutorials! I am learning so much from you! ^^
I love the changes on your blog, and I am super happy that you update so often! :3 I know you are very busy, but it's nice to see you around here!
I love your casual outfit. You always amaze me with your elegance and good taste! <3
May I say that I found myself in love with the music you use for your videos? :3
I hope you have a lovely week, dear!
Ran. <3
I love your blog, I just do. I usually don't comment on lolita related stuff, for myself lolita is so "2008", yet I cannot stop admiring your picture perfect and sultry look. Not an inch of costume-likeness more likely like an antique doll that fell into rabbit hole of the Present Day. I also love the fact your style is darker and more aristo than most of Finnish lolita bloggers, who I assume prefer sweet or classic.
ReplyDeleteBut I couldn't avoid noticing your malnourished looking arms in the previous post. I don't ment to be rude, I'm just little worried of your health, since I know that there's a lot of pressure in the lolita world to be stick thin to fit into Japanese clothes (even though verbally people always insist "no matter what shape everyone can wear lolita). So I'm mindfully asking are you all OK? Take care there..
I tried the hair tut without hair extensions, and it works pretty awesomely like that too. I couldn't pin my hair up too much because it's not long enough yet (growing it out) but good curls and teasing made an ok-ish look. Not deliciously poofy like yours though so I think I'll give it another try once I get some extensions.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing I've been wondering about: did you attend the meet-up in Yoyogi park some years ago? I keep wondering if that girl in blackXwhite was you...
Ribbonlicious, Sora, Maeam, DIXMACABRE, Elluin, Churi Chan, Makoto, Nokturnal:
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your lovely comments! I would hug you all if I could. I changed the header of the blog too, however, I'm not completely satisfied with it... <3 I'm so happy to hear that you have liked the tutorial and that you have found my blog useful.
Many hugs,
Iira

Kafi:
Thank you very much for your comment and kindnes. I appreciate your words a lot and would like to thank you for reading my blog and sharing your thoughts with me. So, thank you!
There are many Finnish lolita blogger around and blog almost for every style, almost equally, so if you want me to send you some links to good blogs that I would recommend, let me know!
Oh, don't worry, I don't consider your word rude at all. I'm more touched becaue of the fact that you care for a person that you hardly know. I'm truly moved. However, there is a serious reaon why I lost so much weight from what I was before and what I can say is that it's something that I can't help myself. A very serious illness, months in the hopital, urgeries and a hard medication and I ended up looking like a young woman hould never look like. However, I'm already getting better and gaining weight (I used to be much skinnier). So, no worries. Maybe ome day I can wear sleeveless clothes and not feel ashamed of it. :) I prefer not to talk much about me being ill because it's so sensitive subject for me still as it affected, not only my health but o many other's as well.
Thank you for your comment again! I really appreciate the fact that you were brave enough to ask me about my looks personally. :)
Many hugs,
Iira

Oh, I'm so happy to hear that! :) That's really everything that I hope when I make the tutorial: that people would find them useful. So, thank you! I hope that you will post pictures of the outcome when you have the chance. :)
Haha, yes, I think that's me. We even took a picture together which I still have somewhere. :) The outfit that I had was... Horrible a the white dres was supposed to be my guro lolita dress for that day, but I didn't have time to finish it. Gosh, that was a very long time ago! Oh, memories... <3
Many hugs,
Iira
